baltimore and philadelphia airports

baltimore and philadelphia airports?
I'm flying from wilmington, nc to philly and baltimore Friday the 12th in the afternoon and coming back the same route Tuesday morning the 16th. I know airports are currently closed and canceling flights but by Friday do you think they are going to be open and working? I'm in the marines and don't get too many chances to go away for a good 4 days and visit people and this coming weekend we have the chance to go away.

Flight delay tomorrow

Flight delay tomorrow?
Tomorrow, I am flying on Southwest Airlines from Providence to Baltimore. The scheduled departure is 5:50. Well, the weather tomorrow won't necessarily cooperate with the airport authority. It is supposed to be snowing in Providence and the wind is supposed to be 25-30 mph. And, the same wind speed in Baltimore. Are the weather and wind conditions enough to delay or even cancel my flight? Thanks, Keagan

no, it will be fine. Only cancel if it's like blizzard storm conditions, and 30 mph wind is nothing
2 :
Yea, your fine- thats not windy enough for them to cancel- maybe delay, but even thats doubtful.
3 :
a 25-30 mph wind probably will only delay your flight, or maybe nothing will happen. But it depends on how heavy the snow is. If the snow is light, odds are your flight is gonna be on time or delayed. But heavy snow can cause your flight to be delayed a lot or canceled.

How long to Fly Home from Iraq

How long to Fly Home from Iraq?
My husband is flying home from Iraq next month for his 2-week leave and I need to know how long it'll take to get here. I will be graduating college 3 days after he is scheduled to leave Iraq, and I'd love to know whether I'm going to be able to meet him at the airport or not. His flight is scheduled from Kuwait, to Ireland, to Atlanta, then to Baltimore. I hope the trip will be less then 3 days. I know that we have the benefit of an 8-hour time difference on our side. Has anybody taken this route, or one close to it, before? Any ideas or ranges as to how long it will take?

My husband left from Kuwait on a Friday, landed in same places your husband did other then your town my husband went to Indianapolis, it took him until Sunday morning to get home.. Good luck baby and have fun with your husband.. We are all proud of him.. And if you want any ideas about what to do when he gets off that plane let me know.. He is coming home a hero and he needs to see that..
2 :
my dad is in the army and went to Iraq and he said about 17 hours.
3 :
It is about a 16 to 20 hour flight. Alot of it depends on layovers and everything else. I hope I was of some help. I know it took my hubby 20 hours to get to Kuwait from GA.
4 :
3 days at the least sweets my hubby made the flight 4 times now lol....sometimes 3 days sometimes 4 dont worry if you dont hear from him....have fun when he gets home
5 :
When my uncle came home it took him 20 hours.
6 :
Keep in mind as well not only is there the long 17 hour or so flight, there are layovers and it is not the norm for him to leave Kuwait the same day you get there. You can sit there for as long as a day or two. He will get his itinerary in Kuwait and it will have the scheduled times on there. I hope he gets home in time to see you graduate.
7 :
It shouldn't take more then 3 days. It depends though, because when they stop in Kuwait, sometimes they say they their longer. Depending on if his unit allows it, you will be able to meet him at the airport, so somewhere on base, buses would take them on base.

I took the route before from Iraq. It will be about a day in a half American time. It felt like forever. Maybe because of the anticipation. We left Thursday Morning Iraq time and got to US Friday afternoon. There was a lot of time changes abd all but I was asleep most of it. So I guess I am not to much help.
9 :
well it all depends on his transit times. for me it took about 23 - 24 hours including an 8 hour transit time in Amesterdam to get from kuwait to LA. but baltimore is much closer to kuwait than LA. and i know that kuwait is 7 hours ahead of eastern time. to actually give you an accurate answer it would be best if you could get the transit times.

What famous athletes have you ever met? How did you meet them

What famous athletes have you ever met? How did you meet them?
I once met Joe Flacco at the Baltimore, Maryland Airport. I had been in Washington D.C for like 4 days, and my flight back to Detroit was delayed an hour and 20 minutes. I met him and got a picture with him an hour after the flight should have taken off.

When I was still a lawyer I represented some NFL players after they got sued for paternity. I can't really reveal which ones, but some were surprisingly dumb. I wanted to ask them how in the heck they could remember the routes to run on their plays, but it seemed rude. Anyway, even though most of the paternity suits were bogus, many were not. Many were valid. That means lots of child support.

I've met too many to name. I have been in the casino biz for 20 years. My Uncle is also a big shot in the Pac-10 and met a few through him. Also my cousin is Joe Ferguson- QB of the bills in the 70's and 80's. The last one I remember meeting was Bo Jackson. He works for a casino company. Damn- I almost forgot! I just met Big Ben about 5 months ago. He came to his sisters basketball game. She plays for the OU Lady Sooners who went to the Final Four.

I am related to Mark Mcguire. Ha ha. But I really am. But like, just cousin why. It is a big chain how. And not by blood. I was once flying to Dallas Texas with my dad and 14 year old brother. I was like, 10 or 11 at the time. And this dude got no the plane and my dad asked him if he was whoever and he said no and my dad said sorry. And my dad was like "He looked like a baseball player." And then when we got off the guy was next to us and my dad was like "Hye. You are not so and so you are Bobby Glich." And he was. I didn't know him but he was famous. And my dad was like "Do people think you are so and so aot?" And he said ya. So for like a half an hour he talked to me and my brother and my dad. And about my brother playing baseball. It was pretty cool. Also, my brother, when he was like 12, he met Vladmir Guerro from the Angels. He met other players to and went in the dug out and locker room. He ogt tons of stuff signe dand he got to stand in the feild with him.

My friend almost got me to meet Donte Whitner but I think that he had to do something for the team and had a change of plans. And my mom got me Sasha Pavlovic's autograph but I never got to meet him. ... I still haven't met a professional athlete yet.

In 2005 i went to a chicago bears game with the Full back at the time ( Marc Edwards) father. He was able to get us access to the locker room at the end of the game. I met Thomas Jones, Urlacher, and of course Marc Edwards. Thomas Jones really wouldn't give anyone the time of day, just stayed in the corner with a group of thugs that must have been local because they gained access to the locker room as well. And also i met Lebron James when he was in high school, my uncle was one of his conditioning coaches from st. v, and my cousins attended st. v with lebron as well. I didnt get to carry on a real conversation with him though

I've met quite a few. I used to be a bartender/bar manager in several cities and have met most of them that way. Once removed Steve McNair and his entire party of 20 because he refused to move his limo from in front of our main entrance. Duece McAllister used to come to my bar in Jackson, Ms. in the offseason and drink Bacardi 151. He would sit at a booth by himself mostly. When I lived in Denver, Champ Bailey and Reuben Droughns used to come to our place often because Reuben was dating one of my servers. These two guys were always wasted on the nuggz! That's just a few, there have been many more. We got a lot of Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche players there, too. The most famous was John Elway, though. He was opening a steak house in Cherry Creek and came into our place "scouting" and told our GM he was just looking at the places he was about to put out of business. He is a real asshole in person. Very obnoxious guy.

I met Tom Brady when he went to Training Camp. Randy Moss tossed me a pair of his gloves. I have a Peyton Manning autographed football and I have a picture with me and Bret Favre.

I met Eddie George outside a hotel in Vegas before the Rose Bowl in 1996. It was after his rookie year in the NFL. I met Archie Griffin a bunch of times in Columbus. I have met Hop Cassidy(a Heisman Trophy winner from the 50s). I met Jim Lachey(a multiple pro bowler for the Redskins) at Ohio stadium. I used to play basketball against Antonio Daniels when I was in High School. He has played in the NBA for a long time, but never lived up to his number 6 pick. Kijana Carter used to go to middle school with my brother, and I met him many times at track meets they both ran at. I sat next to MMA's champion Mark Coleman at a bar once for about an hour. Really nice guy, consider he could rip my arm off and beat me to death with it. I met a lot more than I thought I did when I started to answer this question.

I went to Hawaii with one of my girl friends and we went out to the Oceans club in Waikiki. I met Junior Seau. I didn't know who he was (he had just "retired" from Miami) but I thought he was hot so I started shaking my butt on the dance floor to get his attention. It worked. :) HE asked me to dance, asked if he could kiss me and gave me his phone number. What a trip!!!!! I also met Mick "Mankind" Foley (if you count him as an athlete) at a Cancer charity in Mass and I met Joe Andruzzi at a work function of one of my friends. He let me "try on" his humongous super bowl ring... !! :)
