No, you just go later.

Technically if you book on two different airlines and miss the second due to the first airline's delay then the second airline has no responsibility to move you to the next flight. If the airlines are related in any way (eg. American Airlines/American Eagle or Qantas Airways/Jetstar Airways) then they should move you free of charge and help you as much as possible. However, if they are opposing airlines then you will forfeit your fair unless the check in agent/supervisor uses their discretion. Keep in mind that if there are weather delays affecting the first airline's network then the weather might also affect your second airline as well. So even if your Baltimore to Atlanta flight is delayed you could still make the connection if the Atlanta to Branson flight is delayed also. It is always a good idea for future travel to book any connections with the one airline only.
