What time to arrive at airport?
On March 27, I will be traveling from Chicago Midway, IL to Baltimore Washington, MD. The departure time is 9:15 AM. What time should I leave home and arrive at the airport so I won't be late for the flight and be able to do the check-in. And, any tips on using an eTicket? I will go on Southwest Airlines. I live about 30-45 minutes away from the airport.

The basic rule of thumb is to arrive at the airport 2 hours in advance. That way you can get checked in and through the security line.

We don't know how far away you live from the airport. That is kind of important, but just get there 90 minutes before the flight leaves. That would be 7:45. Just go to the check-in counter for the airline you are flying on.

I agree with 2 hours, but lets say be there, if you are driving, 2 hours ahead, so by the time you get parked and go inside it would be around 730am, that should be good enough.

Try to be at the airport by: 7:15 - 7:30 AM / 24 Hours before your flight, go to your airline website and you can print your boarding pass ahead of time.
